nerd

nerd is a terminal multiplexer for AI agents on macOS. It runs your shells and coding agents side by side in panes and tabs, and shows in a sidebar which one is working, which is waiting for you and which has finished. Panes live in a background server, so closing the window or rebooting loses neither the layout nor the pane text. nerd on GitHub

nerdterm.dev is made by Evgeniy Kovrov (github.com/nyxene), a private person, as a personal, non-commercial open-source project; no money is taken. Its pages about nerd are built from nerd's own README and changelog, so they say what the repository says. The plugin catalog is built from github.com/nerdterm/nerd-plugins and is also published as catalog.json.
